The testing was performed in free space. H) 16-Oct-14 Free Space Efficiency (%) 3D Gain (dB) 42.8 -3.7 56.5 -2.5 47.8 -3.2 45.2 -3.5 51.5 -2.9 40.9 -3.9 37.3 -4.3 34.8 -4.6 36.1 -4.4 34.4 -4.6 33.7 -4.7 26 ― Ethertronics Confidential & Proprietary ― 5.3 Test result – isolation 27 ― Ethertronics Confidential & Proprietary ― 6.0 Conclusion  On Section 5.0, the efficiency table provided the full band(GSM850/GSM900/DCS1800/PCS1900/WCDMA1) of WWAN(X01-07) antenna with 6-pin connector.  Regarding to the main antenna; – since the clearance dimension is reduced from 10mm to 8mm while available antenna shape is different slightly through checking modification in the latest drawing, the bandwidth becomes narrow if compared to Rev G report in free space. – As the antenna structure is different(due to the available antenna space is modified slightly), cause the degradation of phantom effect is getting more on high band. – On page 9, ET provide two carriers shape to compare the difference. ET would advice the part in the red circle should change back to the same wide as previous due to it has limited the antenna design and cause the new antenna structure performs worse than Rev G report in phantom test.  Regarding to the WiFi antenna; – ET re-designed the WiFi antenna for dual band(2.4G+5G) as Bitatek required. So far the efficiency is able to reach the specification.  Regarding to GPS antenna; – the average efficiency of GPS antenna is no issue in current environment. 28 ― Ethertronics Confidential & Proprietary ―
