It features embedded universal FRAM non-volatile memory for code or data storage enabling many sensor applications. Sensor measurements are supported by the internal temperature sensor, thermistor and analog sensors using the onboard 14-bit sigma-delta analog-to digital converter. The RF430FRL152H supports communication, parameter setting and con guration via the ISO/IEC 15693, ISO18000-3 compliant RFID interface and the I2C/SPI serial Interface. Using Energia, an open source rapid prototyping so ware platform, we will program our LaunchPad to interface with multiple sensors to trigger various cloud-side actions such as sending tweets on Twitter, interacting with Facebook and more. We will also develop a custom web browser dashboard for monitoring our LaunchPad’s sensor data remotely. In this course, we will run through various labs to demonstrate the flexibility of the LaunchPad and BoosterPack platform of modular hardware. In this hands-on lab, we will develop various solutions by combining unique LaunchPad and BoosterPack modules to interface with eInk displays, NFC transceivers, sub-GHz RF modules, 8x8 LED matrices, sensors and more.
