The  LM34919  Step  Down  Switching  Regulator  features  all  ofthe  functions  needed  to  implement  a  low  cost,  efficient,  buckbias  regulator  capable  of  supplying  0.6A  to  the  load.  This  buckregulator  contains  an  N-Channel  Buck  Switch,  and  is  availablein  a  micro  SMD  package.  The  constant  on-time  feedbackregulation  scheme  requires  no  loop  compensation,  results  infast  load  transient  response,  and  simplifies  circuit  implementation.The  operating  frequency  remains  constant  with  lineand  load  variations  due  to  the  inverse  relationship  betweenthe  input  voltage  and  the  on-time.  The  valley  current  limit  resultsin  a  smooth  transition  from  constant  voltage  to  constantcurrent  mode  when  current  limit  is  detected,  reducing  the  frequencyand  output  voltage,  without  the  use  of  foldback.  Additionalfeatures  include:  VCC  under-voltage  lockout,  thermalshutdown,  gate  drive  under-voltage  lockout,  and  maximumduty  cycle  limiter.
