3-TERMINAL  0.1A  NEGATIVE  VOLTAGE  REGULATORSThis  series  of  fixed-voltage  monolithic  integrated-circuitvoltage  regulators  is  designed  for  a  wide  range  ofapplications.These  applications  include  on-card  regulation  forelimination  of  noise  and  distribution  problems  associatedwith  single-point  regulation.In  addition,  they  can  be  used  with  power-pass  elementsto  make  high  current  voltage  regulators.Each  of  these  regulators  can  deliver  up  to  100㎃  of  outputcurrent.The  internal  limiting  and  thermal  shutdown  features  ofthese  regulators  make  them  essentially  immune  to  overload.When  used  as  a  replacement  for  a  zener  diode-resistor  com-bination,  an  effective  improvement  in  output  impedancecan  be  obtained  together  with  lower-bias  current.
