The PCM1700 is a low cost, high-performance, dual18-bit digital-to-analog converter. The PCM1700 featureslow glitch, co-phase current and voltage outputsand only requires ±5V supplies. The PCM1700 comescomplete with an internal reference and optional MSBadjustability for even greater THD performance. Totalpower dissipation is less than 400mW max. Lowmaximum Total Harmonic Distortion + Noise (–92dBmax; PCM1700P-K) is 100% tested. The very fastPCM1700 is also capable of 16X oversampling rateson both channels simultaneously, providing freedomin output filter selection.The PCM1700 comes in space-saving 28-pin plasticDIP and SOIC packages. PCM1700 accepts a serialdata input format that is compatible with other Burr-Brown PCM products such as the industry standardPCM56P.
