It is found that control systems play a key role in ensuring safe and reliable operation of power generation units and optimising theirefficiency in wind-driven power generation. Functions of control systems are described in detail,a system structure diagram of DCS is given anddeveloping trends of control systems are discussed. The simulating result shows that R&D of control technology for wind-driven power generationis of importance in enhancing the independent development capability of large sized wind-driven power generating units in the country,enlarginglocalization of wind-driven power generating unit manufacturing,and reducing their cost.Keywords:Wind-driven power generation Control system Function Structure Development trend
