The ISL8601 is a single-phase PWM controller with integratedMOSFET drivers utilizing analog voltage mode control. TheISL8601 features extensive PMBus compliance that enablesrapid and flexible power supply design and comprehensiveproduct evaluation and testing. Exceptional flexibility in thecustomization of operating parameters and system monitoringfunctions is provided via the large PMBus command set. TheISL8601 supports both low-side MOSFET rDS(ON) andInductor DCR current sensing. Programmable temperaturecompensation for sensed current values is provided to ensuremaximum accuracy. In addition to the I2C interface, selectPMBus commands for the ISL8601 can also be programmedvia external resistors, bringing the power and flexibility ofPMBus into low-cost power supply systems.
