Course  Objectives:

❏Use  the  new  interface  and  features  of  Virtuoso®  Layout  Suite  tools  and  utilities

❏Understand  the  differences  among  the  L,  XL,  and  GXL  product  tiers

❏Understand  the  new  token  licensing  model

❏Use  the  new  design  assistants  to  navigate,  search,  query  and  modify  design  components  and  parameters

❏Use  workspaces,  tabs  and  assistants  to  speed  up  complex  design  entry

❏Examine  the  new  Constraint  Manager

❏Explore  and  use  Layout  Suite  GXL  capabilities  such  as  cell  planning,  cell  placing,  optimizing,  floorplanning  and  routing
