It  is  possible  to  create  and  executeJAM™  and  JBC™  files  for  the  AtmelATF1500AS  Family  of  Devices.  JAM  is  aprogramming  and  test-language  developedand  offered  to  users  and  vendorsby  Altera,  and  is  used  for  embedded  andIn-System  programming  (ISP).  The  JAMlanguage  allows  the  user  to  execute  onefile  (.jam  file)  that  contains  all  the  informationnecessary  to  execute  any  ISPoperations  on  a  single  or  a  multipleAtmel  device  chain.  Before  this  can  bedone  certain  steps  must  be  followed.They  are  outlined  in  this  application  note.
