WINNER-Phase-2-Model
WINNER Phase II Model
Summary
Here you find the source code of a MATLAB reference implementation of the WINNER Phase II
Channel Model specified in
[4] IST-WINNER D1.1.2 P. Kyösti, et al., "WINNER II Channel Models", ver 1.1, Sept.
2007. Available: https://www.ist-winner.org/WINNER2-Deliverables/D1.1.2v1.1.pdf
The code is implemented on MATLAB. The code was developed in Workpackage 1 of the WINNER
project of the European Union's 6th Framework Programme.
The software was developed for MATLAB 6.5.0 (R13). Older MATLAB versions may cause unexpected
problems. Certain optional ANSI-C functions require GNU Scientific Library (GSL), but the program
can also be used without it.
Features
The main features of this WIM implementation include:
parametrization based on measurements
seventeen model scenarios (including indoor)
stochastic models for system level simulations
fixed clustered delay line (CDL) models for calibration simulations
network layout visualization tool auto-correlation of large-scale channel parameters
support to arbitrary 3D antenna geometry and field patterns
Download
The current version is 1.1. It was released December 18, 2007. You can download the code and the

Authors
The WINNER Phase I model implementation is based on SCM/SCME/WINNER I implementations.
What is incremental to these is mainly written by Lassi Hentilä (Elektrobit), Pekka Kyösti (Elektrobit),
Martin Käske (TU Ilmenau), Milan Narandzic (TUI Ilmenau), and Mikko Alatossava (University of Oulu).
