The VRS51L3074 is a high performance, 8051-based microcontrollercoupled with a fully integrated array of peripherals for addressing abroad range of embedded design applications.Based on a powerful 40-MIPS, single-cycle, 8051 microprocessor,the VRS51L3074’s memory sub-system features 64KB of Flashand 4352 bytes of SRAM and 8192 Bytes of nonvolatile FRAM(ferroelectric random access memory) memory.Support peripherals include a hardware based arithmetic unitcapable of performing complex mathematical operations, a JTAGinterface for Flash programming and non-intrusive in-circuitdebugging/emulation, a precision internal oscillator and a watchdogtimer.Communication and control of external devices is facilitated via anassortment of digital peripherals such as an enhanced, fullyconfigurable SPI bus, an I2C interface, dual UARTs with dedicatedbaud rate generators, 8 PWM controllers, three 16-bit timers and 2pulse width counter modules.The VRS51L3074 is powered by a 3.3 volt supply, can functionover the industrial temperature range, and is available in aQFP-64 package.
