OB2211/OB2212  is  an  offline  PWM  Power  switchfor  low  power  AC/DC  charger  and  adaptorapplications.  It  operates  in  primary-side  sensing  andregulation.  Consequently,  opto-coupler  and  TL431could  be  eliminated  from  design.  ProprietaryConstant  Voltage  (CV)  and  Constant  Current  (CC)control  is  integrated  as  shown  in  the  figure  below.In  CC  control,  the  current  and  output  power  settingcan  be  adjusted  externally  by  the  sense  resistor  Rs  atCS  pin.  In  CV  control,  multi-mode  operations  areutilized  to  achieve  high  performance  and  highefficiency.  Device  operates  in  fixed  frequency  modeat  large  load  conditions,  frequency  reduction  mode  atlight/medium  load  and  ‘Extended  burst  mode’  atNo/light  load  conditions.OB2211/OB2212  offers  power  on  soft  start  controland  complete  protection  coverage  with  auto-recoveryfeatures  including  Cycle-by-Cycle  current  limiting,VDD  over-voltage  clamp  and  UVLO,  fail-safeprotection  for  open  loop  fault  condition.  ExcellentEMI  performance  is  achieved  with  On-Brightproprietary  frequency  shuffling  technique  togetherwith  soft  switching  control  at  the  totem  pole  gatedrive  output  with  No-Y  cap  design.
