The  EL7581  is  a  3-channel  DC/DC  converter  IC  which  isdesigned  primarily  for  use  in  TFT/LCD  applications.  Itfeatures  a  PWM  boost  converter  with  2.7V  to  14V  inputcapability  and  5V  to  17V  output,  which  powers  the  columndrivers  and  provides  up  to  720mA  @12V,  570mA  @  15Vfrom  5V  input.  A  pair  of  charge  pump  control  circuits  provideregulated  outputs  of  VON  and  VOFF  supplies  at  8V  to  40Vand  -5V  to  -40V,  respectively,  each  at  up  to  60mA.The  EL7581  features  adjustable  switching  frequency,adjustable  soft  start,  and  a  separate  output  VON  enablecontrol  to  allow  selection  of  supply  start-up  sequence.  Anover-temperature  feature  is  provided  to  allow  the  IC  to  beautomatically  protected  from  excessive  power  dissipation.The  EL7581  is  available  in  a  20  Ld  HTSSOP  package  and  isspecified  for  operation  over  the  full  -40°C  to  +85°Ctemperature  range.
