The  RT9165  is  a  positive  low  dropout  regulator  designedfor  applications  requiring  low  dropout  performance  at  fullrated  current.  The  device  is  available  in  fixed  outputvoltage  of  5.0V  or  8.0V.  The  RT9165  provides  excellentregulation  over  line,  load,  and  temperature  variations.The  other  features  include  low  dropout  performance  at  amaximum  of  1.3V  at  150mA,  fast  transient  response,internal  current  limiting,  and  thermal  shutdown  protectionof  the  output  devices.  The  RT9165  is  a  three-terminalregulator  compatible  with  industrial  LM78L05/L08  andavailable  in  surface  mount  SOT-89  package.
