The  RT9270  is  a  high  performance,  low  noise,  fixedfrequency  step  up  DC-DC  Converter.  The  RT9270converters  input  voltage  ranging  2.3V  to  5.5V  into  outputvoltage  up  to  14V.  Current  mode  control  with  externalcompensation  network  makes  it  easy  to  stabilize  thesystem  and  keep  maximum  flexibility.  Programmable  softstart  function  minimizes  impact  on  the  input  power  system.Internal  power  MOSFET  with  very  low  RDS(ON)  provideshigh  efficiency.  The  RT9270  automatically  transits  fromPWM  to  PSM  (Pulse  Skipping  Mode)  during  light  loadcondition  further  increasing  efficiency.  670kHz  and1.3MHz  operation  frequency  options  provide  flexibiltity  ofminimum  output  filter  size,  maximum  efficiency  and  lowBOM  cost.The  RT9270  also  provides  comprehensive  protectionfunctions  such  as  UVLO,  OCP,  OTP,  OVP  and  short  circuitprotection.
