The world of semiconductor IC design has changed dramatically over the lastfew years. In the earlier days, IC designs were confined to a section of abuilding. Today IC designs are being created by bringing together diversetalent in multiple time zones in multiple continents across the world. Somecompanies outsource portions of verification as well. Interestingly some ofthese outsourcing activities are done in other countries to add to it all! Nodoubt, we have all made life interesting in the Silicon Age!
