The  LP3962/LP3965  series  of  fast  ultra  low-dropout  linearregulators  operate  from  a  +2.5V  to  +7.0V  input  supply.  Widerange  of  preset  output  voltage  options  are  available.  Theseultra  low  dropout  linear  regulators  respond  very  fast  to  stepchanges  in  load  which  makes  them  suitable  for  low  voltagemicroprocessor  applications.  The  LP3962/LP3965  are  developedon  a  CMOS  process  which  allows  low  quiescentcurrent  operation  independent  of  output  load  current.  ThisCMOS  process  also  allows  the  LP3962/LP3965  to  operateunder  extremely  low  dropout  conditions.
