In this course, we will leverage the LaunchPad and BoosterPack ecosystem to rapidly prototype various applications including a cloud-connected flowerpot that tweets when it’s in need of water. Using Energia, an open source rapid prototyping software platform, we will program our LaunchPad to interface with multiple sensors to trigger various cloud-side actions such as sending tweets on Twitter, interacting with Facebook and more. We will also develop a custom web browser dashboard for monitoring our LaunchPad’s sensor data remotely.
